Description

This is a custom built, all aluminum & stainless steel GoPro mount for dive torches.

While there are plastic versions of this clamp, they are prone to break & no-one likes to leave their GoPro on the bottom of the ocean (take it from me).

SketchLight has designed this torch mount to be as rugged as possible, made out of aluminum with stainless steel fasteners it is bound to take any abuse you throw at it,
the legs on the plastic dive housing are now the weakest link, SketchLight includes a 15kg (40lb) breaking strength lanyard to ensure if the most extreme situation happens you still have your camera.

While mounting the GoPro on your dive torch is not ideal for good quality video, specifically the backscatter & the hot spot of the dive torch,
it is probably the easiest way to carry the GoPro without having to carry a camera tray & underwater lights and if you start recording at the beginning of
your dive you will most likely capture events on camera that would happen too fast for you to deploy your camera  & start recording.

Watch the sample footage for a better understanding, if there is enough ambient light you can turn your dive torch off & record those moments that happen in a blink of an eye.

KEY DETAILS:

There are 2 size mounts available that should cover any size torch.
SMALL: 15mm-30mm (Suits dive torches like the OrcaTorch D530 & D710 and video lights)
LARGE: 29mm-35mm (Suits the OrcaTorch D511 dive torch)
