SketchLight is a cottage industry based in Melbourne (Truganina), we specialise in good quality equipment for the diving industry. As keen divers, we have had the ability to test a wide range of equipment and we have used this experience to assemble a range of products, especially for the entry level or budget conscience through to the most demanding diver.
With years of videography experience both above & below water, we saw that there was a gap in the market for good quality, robust equipment that didn’t cost the earth. Some budget camera trays direct from China left a lot to be desired, their designs are somewhat confusing and doesn’t always makes sense to the diver.

SketchLight has designed and manufactured in Melbourne a robust entry level camera tray specifically designed for small action cameras, such as the INSTA360 Ace Pro, the GoPro Hero & the DJI Osmo Action (as well as medium size cameras).
OrcaTorch manufacture good quality equipment at a reasonable cost, SketchLight aims to make purchasing easier by having stocks available here in Australia, there’s nothing worse than having to wait weeks or months for your new toy to arrive.

SketchLight began as a hands-on solution for divers who needed gear that actually works underwater. We design, test, and refine our camera trays using Delrin and aluminium. SketchLight regularly dive in local Victorian waters, Australia and internationally. Whether you’re filming with INSTA360, GoPro, or DJI, our gear is built to survive salt, depth, and impact.
